Personal Interests

3D Printing & Rapid Prototyping

3D Printing is a technology that had me captured from a young age. At 17 I built my first printer kit called the “Anet A8” and over the years tinkered and upgraded my way to a Bambulab X1 Carbon. 3D Printing is a fantastic technology and has progressed massivley over the past few years. I frequently design my own parts, and print gifts and props for friends and family.

HomeLab

Building a home lab has enabled me to setup, break and tinker with several enterprise technology offerings which I would not have had the opportunity to do otherwise. I am running two ESXi clusters, with a combined core count of 64 cores and over 500GB’s of DDR4 memory. I have a 10 gigabit fiber backbone using a Unifi Dream Machine Pro and a 24 Port Unifi POE Switch. This has been the best learning investment I have ever made!

Running & Personal Fitness

As important as my tech hobbies are, I make sure to keep ontop of my personal fitness. I regularly sign up to London based running events and I’m currently aiming for my first half marathon event!

As well as running, I enjoy lots of other sports such as Badminton, Padel and strength workouts at the gym.
